IAAF/VTB Bank Continental Cup in Split, Croatia - September 4-5, 2010

The IAAF/VTB Bank Continental Cup holds in Split, Croatia from the 4th to 5th September 2010.

This year on 4 and 5 September, city of Split is host town of the world athletics event Continental cup.

This is unique opportunity for you to be a part of this great event, and stand up close to world famous athletes (Blanka Vlasic, Usain Bolt, Yelena Isinbajeva)

The IAAF / VTB Bank Continental Cup has an own mascot with the name “Marino”. Marino is a funny and merry seagull that was designed by the children of the “Juraj Bonaći” institute, a school for education and care for children with special needs.

Under guidance by the caregiver Snježana Čotić the kids invested a lot of time and effort to become part of this great athletics story and came up with this mascot they named “Marino”, as their gift to the citizens of Split and their guests and athletes from all over the world.
