Obudu mountain race entry closes 29th October

Obudu race winners on the podium in 2007The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the 4th Obudu Ranch International Mountain Race has announced that entry to the 4th edition of the international event which is scheduled to hold at the Obudu Ranch Resort on Saturday November 24, 2008 will close strictly on the 29th October 2008.

In a statement issued by the Chairman of the LOC Sir William Archibong, the strict deadline for closure of entry to the event is to leave room for proper sorting and selection of athletes who would have fulfilled all minimum requirements for the race.

The total price money for last years' race was $227,000.00, which made the Obudu International Mountain Race the highest paying mountain race in the world and the prize money for the fourth edition is expected to surpass that.
