Birmingham 2009 World Half Marathon's entry list released

The provisional entry list for the IAAF / EDF Energy World Half Marathon Championships in Birmingham, UK on Sunday 11 October is now available.

Please note that event start list will only become available after the completion of the Technical Meeting which begins at 16:00hrs local time (GMT +1hr) on Saturday 10 October.

According to the WHM 2009 website Kenya have been the dominant force in the 17-year history of these championships. Their men have won the race on nine occasions and their women three times – all victories going to the brilliant Tegla Leroupe – while the country has taken the team title on 13 occasions.
