Saoud Bin Abdulrahman and Diack to brief media reps in Doha

The 13th IAAF World Indoor Championships international press conference

The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the 13th IAAF World Indoor Championships will meet with the local and international media covering the championships at Qatar's Olympic Commitee (QOC) headquarters in Doha on Thursday.

The press conference will be attended by HE Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, QOC Secretary General and Chairman of Organizing Committee of IAAF world indoor championships and Mr. Lamine Diack, President of International Association of Athletics Federation.

About 150 journalists from all over the world will attended the press conference that comes in light of the preparations for IAAF world indoor championships to be staged in Doha from March 12-14, 2010.

It is worthy mentioning that the Media Centre of the championship will be inaugurated on Friday, March 12, with attendance of QOC Secretary General and IAAF President.

Abdullah Yousif Al Mulla, Director of Media and TV Broadcasting Department stressed that the media centre will include spaces for 500 journalists and photographers.
