The Mozambican sports fans are confident of the success of their country hosting the 10th All Africa Games from September 3-18 this year in Mozambique's capital, Maputo.

Indeed, at a time when the countdown to event kick-off starts to gather speed, sports fans say that despite the financial difficulties that led to delay in completion of construction of the Olympic Village and rehabilitation of some venues, they believe the event will be a success.

On the other hand, they understand that the poor publicity and dissemination of games information is also related to the fact that the funds for this purpose are scarce, but are satisfied by the level of the work undertaken so far.

Whilst the All Africa Games Organizing Committee (COJA) continues to engage in the work to bring the event to fruition, the national teams in various sports are intensifying their work in order not to disappoint in the games to be held for the first time in a Portuguese-speaking African country.
