Chasing the dream - Bayo in Abuja
I am in Abuja at the Camp of the Nigerian Athletics team and I will be competing at the 2008 NNPC/ExxonMobil Nigerian Olympics Trials starting on Tuesday, July 1-3.
A Much Needed Break
Since my last update I've been back (briefly) to Boulder and left again for California and then back to Boulder, got sick and then went off to Illinois (where I'm updating from) and now finally heading back to Boulder.
Lessons from the Road...
G'day again, yup it's been a while and a half since my last proper update (April 8th). I wish I could say things have been going great or even well. There have been a few bumps along the way so I'll do my best to recap what's transpired since my last meaningful update.
1st week in Cali
Week that was & Greetings from Cali
G'day out there in cyber space. I just woke up and felt the need to finally do a quick update. It's currently just after 9AM here in Los Gatos, California.
Pushing mental barriers
So another week has come and gone. I'm eagerly awaiting my trip out to California next week (April 1st). I'll be staying with a good friend of mine: Steve "Mr. 3:56" Sherer out in Santa Cruz.
Living & Learning
G'day & hello again! This week was an ever better one than the last (training wise), but still not 100% spot on.
Running into my 26th year of life
Weekly wrap up (a solid one) - Rob Mandje
G'day & thanks for coming by again. Another week has come and gone and yet I still find myself looking way way way ahead. I was speaking w/ my coach (Lorraine Moller) recently after a run, and mentioned how I couldn't remember the last time ONE single day had passed by that the thought/dream of the Beijing Olympics didn't enter my min mind in one way or another.
