Ethiopian Haile Gebrselassie clinches the BUPA Great Manchester Run win yesterday in 28 minutes and 10 seconds ahead of Briton Chris Thomson (28:21) and Ukraine's Sergiy Lebid (28:25).

After a convincing half marathon win at the 28th Vienna City Marathon, Ethiopian legend, Haile Gebrselassie, said he's looking forward to the London 2012 Olympics qualification.

Kenya's John Kiprotich and Fate Tola from Ethiopia were the unexpected winners of the 28th Vienna City Marathon, whilst Haile Gebrselassie cruised to a half marathon time of 60:18.
