Botswana at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Isle of Man

During the 2nd day of Athletics at the 4th Commonwealth Youth Games in Douglas, Isle of Man, South African World U17 Champion Andries Van der Merwe clocked windy 13.32 (+3.4) to win 110m hurdles. His team-mate Gerhard De Beer impressed in 1.5kg Discus with 67.44m, Ugandan Halima Nakaayi won the girls 400m in 56.13 and Kenyan Jonathan Sawe, Bronze medallist from Lille 2011, won the 1500m in 3:48.38.
